Prepping for Your Countertop Consultation

Have you been waiting to get started on your kitchen or bathroom remodel? Investing in a natural stone surface adds a lot of value to your home, and our team can’t wait to help guide you through the process of finding the perfect material for your project. The first step is to schedule a free consultation with one of our sales team. Here’s what you can do to prepare for your first appointment.

What to Bring

There are a few things you should try to have handy during your first meeting.

  • A rough sketch of your kitchen or bathroom and basic measurements. This will help your consultant provide a better pricing estimate and get a feel for the scope of your project.
  • Cabinet samples, paint swatches, and backsplash tiles if you have them. We’ll give you samples of your granite or other natural stone selections to take home, but it’s always great to see them against your cabinets right away!
  • If you’re working with a builder or contractor, building plans will help us get an accurate look at the space we’re working with.
  • Inspiration! Pictures, magazine clippings, and even Pinterest boards are all great resources to help us get a feel for what you’re looking for in a countertop and will point us in the right direction when recommending materials and colors.

What to Expect

Your first consultation with Bloomday Granite is all about discovery. You’ll sit down with one of our sales reps who will ask questions about your project and walk you through the process of selecting the perfect countertop material for your home. You’ll get a chance to see some samples and take a few home! You might also leave with directions to one of our suppliers to see additional slabs in person!

Once you’ve selected your materials and have received a quote, it’s time to create your natural stone surface! Next steps include creating a template by getting accurate measurements from your home, and scheduling the installation once your new countertops are ready.

Bloomday Granite and Marble provides top quality granite, quartz, and other natural stone surfaces to residential and commercial clients in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and all surrounding areas. If you’re ready to get started, you can schedule a consultation online using our booking calendar.
