I graduated with an Associates degree in Art from Rockingham Community College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Appalachian State with a Psychology degree (my concentration was on Industrial/Organization Psychology) and a minor in Business. Directly after college, I took a position with OHM International Granite Supplier as a receptionist and was promoted to inside sales within six months. For the next six years I remained in sales and was co-manager of the inside office until 2010. In February 2011, I moved to the fabrication side of the business and began working in sales at Bloomday Granite.
Professionally, I am known for my customer service skills and attention to detail. I try to make everyone feel as welcomed as possible, regardless of the size of their project. I pride myself on making sure the customer leaves our office feeling like their granite selection was one of the easier decisions in their building process.
When working with clients, I enjoy finding that special remnant or selection to accent the tile they’ve chosen and pulling a design together so everything is cohesive. I strive to make sure all the details are completed the first time and try not to have my customers make unnecessary trips or phone calls. I want everyone to feel at ease and have confidence with their decisions. I especially enjoy seeing the finished product at the end of a project, and getting to see our work and our customer’s vision come together.
In my free time, you can find me running my online boutique (Alexandra Roo Boutique) at festivals and nearby events on the weekends. I also enjoy spending time with my family, running, hiking, and doing Zumba. This past April, I completed the Cooper River Bridge 10K for the first time!
