Caring for Your Solid Surface Countertop

Solid surface countertops are easily cleaned with warm, soapy water or any basic surface cleaner. Wipe dry with a cloth to prevent water spots.

Solid surface counters don’t tolerate heat as well as natural stone materials. Avoid placing pots, pans, and other hot materials directly on the surface. Use trivets to prevent discoloration or surface damage. Avoid using harsh chemicals and strong abrasives when cleaning, and always use a cutting board to prepare food.
